Welcome back to the new school year! We hope you have had a relaxing summer filled with incredible moments and lasting memories!


The first day of school is Monday, August 21st.


Breakfast is available for all students from 8:00 - 8:25 am


Are you curious to know who your teacher will be this school year?  Well, class lists will be posted on the school gates on Friday, August 18 from 9 am to 4 pm  Due to confidentiality reasons, class lists will not be posted over the weekend, but will be posted again on Monday morning. 


Classroom change requests will not be considered until after Back to School Night. 


For safety reasons, the gate that connects our school to Citrus Park will be kept locked 24/7.  Families will not have access to the school from the park.  Students will need to be dropped off and picked up at the main entrance.  This may be a slight inconvenience, but the safety of our students and families is our priority.

Mission Statement: The Citrus Elementary staff pride themselves on providing an atmosphere that promotes cooperation and collaboration among community members, students and staff.   Our expectation is that students will be provided with a rigorous and challenging curriculum utilizing best practices and differentiated instruction so all students will thrive. We will appreciate and embrace all differences, celebrate and nurture diversity and weave character and values through all we do.  We will provide a safe and nurturing environment in which students, staff and the community feel a sense of security; physically, mentally and emotionally, and bestow the tools and skills necessary for our students to be competitive in educational endeavors and productive members of society.

Goal: Student achievement results will show no significant difference between any student groups at Citrus.

Staff Commitment: To foster individual success by providing an environment that builds self esteem, promotes life skills, and nurtures intellectual curiosity.
